18 άτομα συνελήφθησαν στο Κλίβελαντ των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών, σε επεισόδια που έγιναν μεταξύ διαδηλωτών και αστυνομικών.
Η διαδήλωση έλαβε χώρα κοντά στο σημείο που γίνονταν το κεντρικό συνέδριο του Ρεπουμπλικανικού Κόμματος και κάποιοι από τους διαδηλωτές προσπάθησαν να βάλουν φωτιά σε αμερικανική σημαία.
Οι αστυνομικές αρχές έσπευσαν στο σημείο και ακολούθησαν επεισόδια, ενώ η φωτιά είχε εξαπλωθεί και σε ρούχα των διαδηλωτών.
Από τα 18 άτομα που συνελήφθησαν, οι δύο κατηγορούνται για επίθεση σε αστυνομικό.
Ακόμα δεν έχει γίνει γνωστός ο λόγος που προσπάθησαν να κάψουν τη σημαία, ένα όμως είναι το σίγουρο: Όταν οι πολίτες φτάνουν στο σημείο να θέλουν να καταστρέψουν το σύμβολο του έθνους, τη σημαία, τότε τα πράγματα δεν κυλούν ομαλά.

Σιγά να μην διαλύονται..τι να πρωτοθυμηθώ..τα γεγονότα στην Ουκρανία το ’14; Τα γεγονότα στην Γαλλία πριν 2-3 μήνες; Αυτά που συμβαίνουν τώρα στην Τουρκία και θα σταματήσουν κάποια στιγμή; Όλα έχουν την αρχή και το τέλος τους, απλά μην λέμε μεγάλα λόγια και στο τέλος διαψευδόμαστε πανηγυρικά.
