Ο επικεφαλής της Χεζμπολάχ του Λιβάνου προειδοποίησε σε τηλεοπτικό διάγγελμά του ότι σε περίπτωση που οι εχθροπραξίες με τον ισραηλινό στρατό κλιμακώνονταν σε έναν ευρύτερο πόλεμο, τότε οι μαχητές του κινήματος θα αγωνίζονταν «χωρίς κανόνες» και «χωρίς περιορισμούς».
Διεμήνυσε ότι πουθενά στο Ισραήλ δεν θα υπήρχε ασφάλεια από τις επιθέσεις της Χεζμπολάχ, κάνοντας λόγο ακόμη και για ενδεχόμενους στόχους στη Μεσόγειο Θάλασσα.

Για πρώτη φορά, ο Χασάν Νασράλα εκτόξευσε απειλές εναντίον της Κύπρου, υπογραμμίζοντας ότι η Χεζμπολάχ θα μπορούσε να τη θεωρήσει εμπλεκόμενη στον πόλεμο εάν εξακολουθήσει να επιτρέπει στο Ισραήλ να χρησιμοποιεί τα αεροδρόμια και τις βάσεις της για στρατιωτικούς σκοπούς.
