Φρίκη και αποτροπιασμό προκαλεί η εξέλιξη στον Αμαζόνιο με τις ευλογίες του νεοεκλεγέντος Βραζιλιάνου προέδρου. Η αδειοδότηση στους κολοσσούς που εκμεταλλεύονται το δάσος τους έχει επιτρέψει για πρώτη φορά να το αποψιλώνουν με ιλιγγιώδης ρυθμούς.
Συγκεκριμένα κάθε λεπτό αποψιλώνονται εκτάσεις ίσες με τρία γήπεδα αμερικανικού ποδοσφαίρου. Μιλάμε για μία παγκόσμια απειλή αφού το τροπικό δάσος του Αμαζονίου είναι κυριολεκτικά ο πνεύμονας οξυγόνου της ανθρωπότητας. Το 37% του οξυγόνου που υπάρχει στην ατμόσφαιρα παράγεται στο δάσος αυτό.
Και όμως μέχρι αυτή τη στιγμή δεν υπάρχει καμία αντίδραση, καμιά
διεθνής πίεση, ενώ μάλιστα ο νεοφασίστας Μπολσονάρου, είχε προαναγγείλει
αυτή την εξέλιξη.
Μιλούν λοιπόν κορυφαίες τηλεπερσόνες για την κλιματική αλλαγή, αλλά αφήνουν ανεξέλεγκτο το κάθαρμα που θέτει την ανθρωπότητα σε κίνδυνο. Δράση τώρα πριν είναι αργά για όλους.
