Μία συγκλονιστική εικόνα έρχεται στο φως της δημοσιότητας από τη φωτιά που ξέσπασε στη Μάνδρα. Άνδρας φαίνεται να κοιμάται πάνω στο καμένο του σπίτι.
Στάχτες και αποκαΐδια άφησε πίσω της η πύρινη λαίλαπα στη Μάνδρα, με την καταστροφή στο περιβάλλον και στις περιουσίες των ανθρώπων να είναι τεράστια.
Το συνεργείο της ΕΡΤ βρέθηκε στο Τσακάλι Μάνδρας, όπου κατέγραψε καμένα αυτοκίνητα και σπίτια.
Οι κάτοικοι είδαν τη φωτιά να πλησιάζει το βράδυ της Δευτέρας. Το μεσημέρι της Τρίτης έφτασε τελικά και εγκατέλειψαν όλοι. Ορισμένα σπίτια καταστράφηκαν ολοσχερώς.
Δύο οικογένειες έχουν επιστρέψει. Μάλιστα, η κάμερα κατέγραψε έναν άνθρωπο να κοιμάται πάνω από το καμένο σπίτι του.
