Έξι άνθρωποι είναι νεκροί και ένας τραυματίας μετά από επίθεση με μαχαίρι σε νηπιαγωγείο στη νοτιοανατολική επαρχία Γκουανγκντόνγκ της Κίνας.
Η αστυνομία ανακοίνωσε ότι συνέλαβε έναν 25χρονο και διερευνά τα αίτια της επίθεσης με μαχαίρι σε νηπιαγωγείο της περιοχής.
Τα θύματα της επίθεσης ήταν «εκπαιδευτικός, δυο γονείς και τρεις μαθητές», δήλωσε η εκπρόσωπος του δήμου χωρίς να διευκρινίζει τις ηλικίες των θυμάτων. Σύμφωνα με τοπικά μέσα ενημέρωσης, το επώνυμο του δράστη είναι Γου.
Η οπλοκατοχή απαγορεύεται στην Κίνα, ωστόσο οι επιθέσεις με μαχαίρια έχουν πολλαπλασιαστεί τα τελευταία χρόνια ενώ οι σποραδικές επιθέσεις σε σχολεία εξώθησαν τις αρχές να ενισχύσουν τα μέτρα ασφαλείας στις εκπαιδευτικές δομές.
Οι αρχές χαρακτήρισαν την υπόθεση «εσκεμμένη επίθεση» και πρόσθεσαν ότι η επίθεση με μαχαίρι έγινε σήμερα στις 07:40 τοπική ώρα.
