Σοβαρό πρόβλημα προκλήθηκε στο νοσοκομείο Δρομοκαΐτειο καθώς εξαιτίας της διακοπής ρεύματος σε πολλές περιοχές το βράδυ της Κυριακής μετά την πυρκαγιά σε υποσταθμό στον Ασπρόπυργο,καταστράφηκαν 66 δόσεις εμβολίων της Pfizer.
Όπως υποστήριξε, μιλώντας στο enikos.gr, ο πρόεδρος της ΠΟΕΔΗΝ, Μιχάλης Γιαννάκος “μετά τη διακοπή ρεύματος, αν και λειτούργησε η γεννήτρια του νοσοκομείου, χάλασε ο ηλεκτρολογικός πίνακας και δεν δούλεψε το ψυγείο.
Το αποτέλεσμα ήταν να χαλάσουν 11 φιαλίδια εμβολίων της Pfizer που αντιστοιχούν σε 66 δόσεις. Από το υπουργείο Υγείας, το οποίο και ενημερώθηκε, μας είπαν να τα πετάξουμε γιατί καταστράφηκαν και ότι θα μας φέρουν άλλα σήμερα το απόγευμα”.
Όπως εξήγησε ο πρόεδρος της ΠΟΕΔΗΝ, “το Δρομοκαΐτειο λειτουργεί ως εμβολιαστικό κέντρο και σε εξέλιξη βρίσκεται ο εμβολιασμός της δεύτερης δόσης σε ηλικιωμένους άνω των 85 ετών.
Τα ραντεβού που είχαμε για σήμερα – μεταξύ αυτών σήμερα ήταν προγραμματισμένο να εμβολιασθεί και ο πατέρας του κ. Βαρουφάκη- μετατίθενται για αύριο το πρωί, καθώς όπως μας είπαν από το υπουργείο δεν προλαβαίνουν να τα στείλουν τώρα το πρωί”.
