Στοιχειωμένος φαίνεται πως είναι ο συγκεκριμένος δρόμος στο κέντρο του Ρεθύμνου. Μετά την τραγική ασφαλτόστρωση που είχε γίνει, τώρα το κακό απόγινε με την επική διαγράμμιση.
Σύμφωνα με το rethemnonews.gr, τα συνεργεία που ανέλαβαν να βάψουν την διάβαση πεζών στην οδό Επ. Μαρούλη, ακολούθησαν παρόμοια μέθοδο με αυτή της ασφαλτόστρωσης. Δηλαδή έβαψαν, τόσο όσο τους επέτρεπαν τα παρκαρισμένα αυτοκίνητα.
Τον Νοέμβριο του 2016, στην ίδια οδό, είτε λόγω ασυνεννοησίας μεταξύ των αρμόδιων, είτε λόγω βιασύνης, τα συνεργεία του Δήμου έστρωσαν την καινούργια άσφαλτο στο δρόμο, χωρίς πρώτα να φροντίσουν να απομακρυνθούν τα παρκαρισμένα αυτοκίνητα και οι κάδοι των απορριμμάτων.
