Τα πετρέλαια στην Ελλάδα (Ιόνιο, Βόρειο Αιγαίο) ήταν γνωστά (στους Γερμανούς) και εκμεταλλεύσιμα από πιο παλιά (Α΄ παγκόσμιο πόλεμο). Δεν μας άφηναν να τα εκμεταλλευτούμε γιατί τα θέλανε όλα δικά τους οι επτά Αδελφές… έχοντας πάντα διαθέσιμο για να μας εκβιάζουν την Σκύλα της Ανατολής…
