Νέα αγορά «μαμούθ» υπερσύγχρονων μαχητικών αεροσκαφών F-35 ανακοίνωσε η Τουρκία, προβληματίζοντας την Ελλάδα που αντίθετα πιέζεται από τους δανειστές της να προβεί σε περικοπές 400 εκατ. από τις αμυντικές δαπάνες κατά το τρέχον έτος.
Το γεγονός αυτό, σύμφωνα με το «Εθνος της Κυριακής», αναμενεται να προκαλέσει ανατροπή της ισορροπίας δυνάμεων στο Αιγαίο.
Ενώ συμβαίνει σε μια χρονική στιγμή που ο Ερντογάν, απειλεί, για τα «σύνορα της καρδιάς» του και εγείρει θέμα «χαμένων πατρίδων» ακόμη και στο Αιγαίο αναθεματίζοντας τη Συνθήκη της Λωζάνης και η τουρική Πολεμική Αεροπορία προκαλεί και πάλι πάνω από ελληνικά νησιά -ημέρα και νύχτα- με αποτέλεσμα να έχουν ξεκινήσει σκληρές αερομαχίες μεταξύ ελληνικών και τουρκικών μαχητικών.
