Big Story Short

We are a group of people who are willing to help Greek citizens and upgrade their standard of living. Today debt crisis has a huge impact to the majority of Greek people, not only financial problems occurred but also health related ones.
Greek citizens do not have the necessary money to buy medicines for their kids, some of them do not even have the ability to feed them self’s.
Now with the current affairs Greece might be outside European Countries and begin from ground zero with a new currency and a devastated economy. If not, the new Memorandum will definitely close down half of the businesses and skyrocket the unemployment of citizens.

What are willing to do with your funding

Our plan is renting a space where we can keep food and medicines for the people who do not have the ability to buy them.

Unemployment this year in Greece is 25% and a little bit more. You can imagine what will happen if the country goes bankruptcy or accept the new Memorandum European Union proposed.

So, we would like to rent a space in Heraklion, Crete and store emergency food like White Rise, Wheat, Pasta, Sugar, Salt, Honey and more. We would also like to offer medicines for at least the most common diseases like asthma, Cold and Flu and more Illnesses (at least for the kids.)

We already found a storage in a good price (owner is asking for 150 EUR per month for a large space which can be used for storage)

Food and medicines will be given away to people unable to buy them, remember that in Greece goes bunckrupty the majority of citizens including us will not be able to buy and feed their kids, if Greece accepts the new Memorandum European Union proposed, half of businesses will close which leads us to a more than 50% unemployment and uncontrolled criminality.

All the money will be used for this cause and invoices will be uploaded.

We are planning to create a website just for this cause in order to be informed. Website will be created before the payout day.

Some facts about Greece

Unemployment is about 25% and expected to be more than 50% in the future if Greece Accepts the new terms.

650.000 Kids with their families are living below the poverty line .

60% of people are willing to find a job outside Greece and upgrade their standard of living.

What we need from you

We need money. Money to buy food and medicine, money to protect all these into our storage and give them to the people of Greece.

We will inform you in every possible way about the progress that we are making.
We are giving some Perks to all of you as the least we can do in order to thank you.
All of the perks are real and will be send to you (if they need transporation) after we receive the funds from indiegogo. Please note we can not send them right away because we can not afford it.

Who we are
We are a group of programmers from a company based in Crete, Heraklion called Velvet Studio
In the past we have created with our own expenses (and maintained until today) the first Greek Cryptocurrency called Hellas Coin in order to help Greek Citizens with financial projects.
Our names are Marinos Theodoros, Chrysanthos Markomixalis and George Tsagkarakis. Below you can who we are.

It is our first time in here, by this time we are writing this words we do not know what the next step is about in the indiegogo editor.

What if Greece leaves Euro and the new currency will have no value ?
If this scenario is true then we will buy all the products in Euro from balkan countries (where products are cheap) and import them, we are committed to look for the best prices.

Summary

We will rent a storage and fill it with emergency food and medicines for the people who can not buy them, times are difficult for the Greek Citizens.
